“We are holding another volunteer day in the Shakespeare Garden in Lightwoods Park this Saturday, 19th October. It will start at 10.30am and finish at 12.30pm.
A lot of work has gone into the garden over the last couple of months and this level of maintenance now needs to be kept up to ensure that our garden remains beautiful and a feature that everyone can enjoy. If you can spare a couple of hours of your time on Saturday 19th October we would be very grateful.
You need not have any gardening experience to get involved, just a love for the gardens is enough! If you want to come along to help weed, clear leaves, prune the topiary or edge the lawns, please wear suitable clothing and bring your boots with you!!!
Gloves and tools will be provided (and a tea/coffee at the end if you want one) so come along and get stuck in!”
